Fees for this years competition are:

HPRC members - $25 for 1 kit, $45 for 2 kits

Non-HPRC members - $65 for 1 kit, $85 for 2 kits

Reason for the difference is that the HPRC has a fund that supplements the extra travel and housing expenses of the regional and finals judge.  Non-members will have to pay directly for those additional expenses.

REMINDER

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A MEMBER OF THE NBRC OR HPRC TO COMPETE IN THE WORLD CUP ROLLER FLY

The Hawaii Performing Roller Club participates in 2 major roller pigeon flys during the year.  The first major fly of the year is the World Cup Roller Fly.  This fly usually occurs between May - July.  The second major fly of the year is the NBRC National Championship Fly.  This competition usually occurs between September - November.

The World Cup Roller Fly is a 20 bird kit competition.  The World Cup Roller Fly is organized by the World Cup Roller Fly organization.  The organizations only purpose is to organize this prestigeous fly.  It is not a club and there is no membership.  The officers are elected by the Regional Directors.  The Regional Directors are elected by the flyers who participate in the fly for that year.

The basic rules to participate in the World Cup Roller Fly is as follows:

To participate in this fly you DO NOT have to be a member of any club or organization.

The region has to enter 15 kits to gain a qualifier in the finals.  30 kits equals 2 finalists.

A flyer can enter a maximum of 2 kits in the competition, comprised of completely different birds.  This flyer has to fly at least one of the kits in the regionals and can take a DNF (did not fly), with reason.

A flyer can also enter 1 kit and take a DNF, with reason, but the region has to fly at least 50 percent of the kits entered.

ie.  Flyer 1 and 2 both enter one kit each and both take a DNF.  Flyer 3 enters two kits and flys both of them.  All four kits would count towards the qualifier.
